December has been a whirlwind as usual, but we are thankful for God’s blessings during this month of celebrating His birth. We have had Christmas dinners, gift giving and numerous blessings from God. One of our special blessings was to dedicate LAC’s first baby on Sunday, December 18 and to have several new family members joining us. We tried hard to have 60 in attendance and got real close - 57. With God’s blessings and help we’ll reach that and many more in 2017. Praise God!
Our Christmas dinner was a wonderful evening with lots of fun and fellowship. We had an auction afterwards where people donated items and goodies to raise money for our building program. One of our sisters baked a chocolate pie and a coconut pie. These two pies alone raised $700. WOW! What a blessing! The sister has won many blue ribbons at the state fair but these two pies will win her and the buyers extra jewels for their heavenly crowns!
God has many things in store for LAC this upcoming year. Everyone reading this is invited to come. Once you’re here, we’ll make you feel like family. Sunday at 2pm and Thursday at 7pm. Everyone welcome!
