Life Apostolic Church started the month of May with Brother Darren Burton preaching a wonderful children’ crusade. We had young boys who were anxious to participate and play the part of Samson but one immediately said “no way will I dress like that.” A few of our adult men got in on the fun too but we never told them we were laughing at them. We all had fun and were blessed. It was a “holylarious” service. That word is not in Webster’s Dictionary but it means spiritually funny. We met Brother Burton’s singing puppets which we were able to sing along with and he also taught us to sing “Acapulco” southern style.
Pastor Seidenfaden has purchased a baptismal tank and we are ready to baptize “whosoever will” that has repented of their sins and ready to live for God Pastor set it up in front of the church last week so we could pray and think about the needs of the church people. A previous employer had a phrase they used to inspire employees to be ready to see changes. I’m using it now to inspire LAC. GET READY! GET READY! GET READY!
It’s almost here - June 17, our very first anniversary and we are ready to celebrate the blessings of the Lord. Come and join us Friday night at 7:30pm with Brother Jimmy Toney. We will carryover our celebration to Sunday, June 19, 2pm for Family and Friends Day. Refreshments will be served on Friday night and a fried chicken dinner with the “fixins” on Sunday. Please don’t miss either service. We’re looking forward to meeting everyone!
