WOW! June has come and gone and Life Apostolic Church had a very busy but blessed month. Our one year anniversary service on Friday night, June 17, was a tremendous blessing with Pastor Jimmy Toney from Lexington, KY preaching,
“WAKE UP CHURCH! The Lord is coming!” For some of us it was the first time ever to hear a sermon on how to make up a bed and using sheets to explain the salvation of God. The fitted sheet, top sheet, comforter and throw pillows are needed for completion of a made up bed. Repentance, baptism in Jesus name and infilling of the Holy Ghost are absolutely required for a new life in Jesus Christ!
Our Sunday’s Family and Friends Day was blessed with several guests who we had not seen for a while. We were so thrilled to see happy, smiling faces and are believing they will join us again soon. And our ladies prepared tremendous meals after each service. They blessed each of us and we THANK YOU for your hard work and dedication to God’s kingdom.
We have seen excitement and growth in our Sunday School classes with children coming for the first time and learning about Jesus Christ. Our new teachers are a blessing!
Just like Brother Toney preached, we are believing Jesus is coming soon and we want everyone to be ready and covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. Prayer is what is needed today. Everyone is welcome!
