The month of June has already passed and it has been a busy month. We are still getting familiar with our new facility at 4610 Manslick Road and it has been a blessing. The members of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church have been so courteous and helpful. We have a very nice sanctuary with plenty of Sunday School rooms, and a very nice conference center with a kitchen and stage as well as office space and other facilities and plenty of parking.
One of the most important events in June was packing and loading up all we had obtained over a period of 2-3 years and moving to our new location; then set up for our first service on Sunday, June 4.
Then several members along with our pastor and his wife traveled to Maysville, KY on May 12 to assist in building a “church in a day.” In approximately 24-26 hours, the walls went up. Thank God for dedicated people.
Then, our pastor and wife and several members attended camp meeting this past week in Summersville, KY with preaching from Rev. Jimmy Toney and Rev. Philip Harrelson. Marvelous messages anointed of God.
Now, we are ready to celebrate the 4 th of July on Tuesday. Hopefully, a day of rest and spending time with our families.
LAC is still excited about serving God “wherever we are and whatever we are doing.” We know He is with us and will continue to meet our every need. Come join us and check us out - Sunday at 2pm and Thursday at 7pm. We welcome all.
