It’s amazing what God has provided for us at Life Apostolic Church.  It’s been about 17 months since we were established in the south end of Louisville.  The little boy that directed Bro. Mike Seidenfaden to seek the pastor of the church on Palatka Road (where we are currently meeting) has not been seen since that first initial meeting.  We truly believe he was sent by God.  God is bringing to fruition the vision given Bro. Seidenfaden about twenty years ago when he was working a full time job that he would pastor a church in Louisville someday.

Along with a church building, God has met all of our financial needs and supplied musicians and singers to lead us in worship.

We have been blessed with several new families who have been baptized and either received the Holy Ghost or is seeking.  Our congregation is very self motivated and talented and have been a blessing.  This is just the beginning of what God is going to do.

With Thanksgiving and Christmas soon here, we will have much to thank and praise Him for.  Come and join us on Thursday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm at 970 Palatka Road.  We look forward to every service expecting God to do great things.

September has been another exciting month living for the Lord at Life Apostolic Church.  We have had wonderful preaching and teaching during the month.  Along with our pastor, we had Missionary Edward Hosmer and his wife, from Japan, ministering to us on Thursday, September 8.  He preached a message all Pentecostals know - Acts 2:38-39.  An altar call was given and we had one to receive the Holy Ghost.  Thank you Jesus (it’s still for us today)!

Bro. Terry Null taught us a beautiful Bible lesson Sunday, September 14 about the life of Job and the trials he went through, yet was God there all the time.  What a marvelous, wonderful message from a man that has been through trials almost as severe as Job.  He has been working on a a number of life lessons from Job we hope to hear more of in the future.

Thursday, September 18, Bro. Robert Eades and his talented family from Eminence, KY blessed us with songs and preaching a message titled “A Eulogy Never Delivered.”  When there is a historical event, such as, Neil Armstrong walking on the moon, or a national election, etc., usually two speeches are written prior to the event:: one if you loose or one if you win, always being prepared for the end results.  Living for the Lord, there are two endings - one we reach our heavenly goal or one we do not.  What will be the ending results for us - we made it or we did not?

Also thanks to Bro. Jacob Broadley for his powerful messages during the last several months.  God has truly anointed him.

Visit us again here at lifeupci.org or join us in person.  Everyone is invited.
