Another year - possibly the year the Lord comes. We are a blessed people to know the Lord and know He is coming soon and we must be ready, because there is no other way. Pastor Seidenfaden’s first sermon of the year on January 1st was “A New Normal”. We need to forget things behind us and reach for things in front of us. We are not making New Year’s resolutions that we’ll keep a week or two but praying for a revolution in our lives; a “New Normal” with peace and joy; a change and drawing nearer to God because this could be the year of His return. On January 8, we had two baptisms done the old fashion way in a horse trough, outside in freezing weather with snow still on the ground. The freezing weather didn’t matter to those being baptized, they did not want to wait for warmer weather. They wanted a new normal with Jesus in their lives. Ohhhhh, it was cold! Make 2017 a “New Normal” and see how God can change your life. Our church doors are always open and you are welcome at Life Apostolic Church, 970 Palatka Road, Louisville, KY, Sunday at 2pm and Thursday at 7pm. |
